ICOPED conducts Stakeholders Meeting for 2023 UPLB-TMSPH Farmer to Agripreneur Program

As part of the ongoing implementation of 2023 UPLB-TMSPH FARMER TO AGRIPRENEUR PROGRAM: Logistics Assessment among Cooperatives, Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs), and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Selected Regions of Luzon, Philippines, the Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development, College of Economics and Management (ICOPED-CEM) held a Stakeholders Meeting last August 9 in Malolos, Bulacan, and August 15 in Baguio City. 

Attended by thirty-nine (39) members/officers of cooperatives, ARBOs, and MSMEs; twenty-one (21) staff from from Toyota Motors Philippines, Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines (TMSPH), Toyota Bulacan, and Toyota Baguio; and fourteen (14) staff from Local Government Units, and regional and provincial units of Department of Agrarian Reform and Department of Trade and Industry in Central Luzon and Cordillera Administrative Region, the activity aims to validate the results of the survey conducted in the selected projects sites. During the activity, a Focus Group Discussion was also conducted among the stakeholders to further understand their perceptions, beliefs, and logistics needs in relation to the program. 

The TMSPH-funded program has a six-month duration from March to September 2023. Together with ICOPED-CEM, it is being co-implemented by the Community Innovations Studies Center, College of Public Affairs and Development (CISC-CPAf), UPLB.
