Our Academic Program

ICOPED makes an effort to boost knowledge of people about cooperatives. It aims to provide formal education that can help professionalize cooperative leaders, officers, employees, and other stakeholders in the field of cooperatives.

Towards this end, ICOPED, in partnership with the Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (DAME) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), offer the Master of Management major in Cooperative Management (MM-CM), which aims to provide students with advanced knowledge on management, entrepreneurship and enterprise development that are consistent with the cooperative values and principles.

​ICOPED also offers undergraduate cooperative courses as part of our commitment to promote awareness and continuing cooperative education among the youth. Lastly, ICOPED provides technical assistance and advice to students working or who will be working on theses, special problems or field studies that are related to cooperatives.

MM-CM Program 

Applicants for admission to MM-CM program must be holders of the bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from any recognized institution.

Undergraduate Courses

All students enrolled at the University of the Philippines, both at undergraduate and graduate levels,  may take the Cooperative Studies (COST) undergraduate courses as their technical or cognate courses, electives, or extra courses. 

Student technical services

Any student from the University of the Philippines and other State Colleges and Universities who is working on a thesis, case study, special problem, or field study that is related to cooperatives may seek technical advice from or consult with the faculty and staff of ICOPED.
