ICOPED hosts the UPLB Flag Raising Ceremony

The Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development (ICOPED) of the College of Economics and Management (CEM) hosted the UPLB Flag Raising last April 25, 2022 at the BM Gonzalez Hall (UPLB Main Library).  

Asst. Prof. Ceptryl S. Mina led the opening prayer, followed by the Philippine National Anthem led by Asst. Prof. Maria Theresa M.Castro-Bernardo. The Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan was recited by the attendees under the lead of Ms. Alicia R. Quicoy. The singing of Awit ng Serbisyo Sibil and UP Naming Mahal were accompanied by Mr. Fernando M. Banalo and Mr. Paul Kenneth Maghirang, respectively. 

Dr. Agham C. Cuevas, the Dean of CEM, appreciated the support and attendance of CEM constituents during the event. As a follow-through to Dean Cuevas' message, Chancellor Camacho commended the CEM Department Heads and Director for their utmost support in the University's activities. Chancellor Camacho requested for continuous assistance and support among CEM constituents to the new better normal that the University is currently facing and to future proof the uncertainties and changes. 

Assistant Professor Liezel S. Cruz, Director of ICOPED, extended her gratitude to the attendees for their support and presence during the Flag Raising Ceremony. She briefly expounded ICOPED's services which led her to inviting the attendees to the 4th International Conference on Cooperatives on November 17-18, 2022 via online.
