UPLB ICOPED Partners with SUCs to Launch Philippine Consortium for Cooperative Education and Research

LOS BAÑOS, LAGUNA - The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between UPLB and 7 SUCs to officially establish the Philippine Consortium for Cooperative Education and Research (PCCER) was held yesterday, October 14, at the REDREC Auditorium, CEM, UPLB.

PCCER marks a significant step in building academic partnerships and fostering a community of practice among higher education institutions that promote, support, and advocate for cooperatives as leaders in equitable and sustainable progress.

The consortium serves as a platform for the member institutions to collaboratively pursue education, research, and extension initiatives focused on cooperatives. It will facilitate the development and exchange of innovative teaching and learning strategies, enhancing collaboration and establishing effective connections between HEIs and the cooperative sector.

The creation of PCCER was led by University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) together with its founding members, namely:
