Cooperative Managers from Batangas Visit UPLB-ICOPED for a Learning Exchange

LOS BAÑOS, LAGUNA The UPLB Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development welcomes cooperative managers and delegates from Batangas Province. Led by Mr. Bon Ian dela Roca, president of the League of Cooperative Managers of Batangas Inc. (LCMAB), 20 participants visited ICOPED on November 8, 2024 for a benchmarking and learning exchange activity. 


The program started with the introduction of LCMAB and ICOPED and was followed by a seminar entitled COOPuhunan: Successful Cooperative Enterprise Development, which was delivered by Mr. Paul Kenneth Maghirang, ICOPED University Researcher of ICOPED. The open discussion after the seminar was moderated by Dr. Karen Custodio, ICOPED Director and Ms. Yrelle Mae Dizon, University Researcher from the same institute.  


The above activity provided a venue for sharing knowledge and best practices and opportunities for collaboration between cooperatives and ICOPED. It is part of the Lakbay Aral Activity of LCMAB and ICOPED's Cooperative Month Celebration.
